Pelorus Promotions was established to provide for the promotion of the area comprising Pelorus Sound, Kenepuru Sound, Mahau Sound, d’Urville Island, French Pass, Croisilles Harbour, Rai Valley & Pelorus River; including hinterland and out lying islands, and any adjacent aras considered appropriate by the Pelorus Promotions members. Assist with, encourage or otherwise promote the interest of the Pelorus Promotions members and to take an active roll in promoting the area to visitors both from New Zealand and overseas. Ensure the orderly development of the area, to enhance and protect the environment and amenities.
