Comfortable accommodation halfway along the 2 day DOC maintained Nydia Track. Accessible by walking the track or by boat in this quiet and beautiful corner of the Marlborough Sounds. Relax with a drink under our verandas or find a hammock in the garden. Take a walk to explore the history of the bay, have a swim or hire a kayak. Meals available.

We have doubles and twins in private cabins. Also a 6 bed bunk room. All rooms have towels and linen provided. All rooms share our unique bathrooms and guests have access to a large kitchen, dining and lounge area with a fire.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

We also provide a simple home cooked supper, breakfast and a packed lunch to take with you on the track. Particularly handy for those wishing to reduce the weight of their pack! We use home baked bread, eggs from our chickens and vegetables from our garden where possible. Please advise us when booking if you wish to eat. We can be reached by walking the Nydia Track from Kaiuma bay in the South, or Duncan Bay, Tennyson Inlet in the North.

We offer a fast Water Taxi service from Havelock out to us, or vice versa. The journey takes about 40 minutes.

One can also take the Mailboat on a Tuesday from Havelock.

The Nydia track is open for Mountain Biking and is best done North to South.

Experienced Kayakers can reach us from Havelock or Tennyson Inlet.
