Nestled in lush native bush on the crystal clear waters of Pelorus Sound Te Rawa offers magnificent views, total relaxation and all the comforts of home - in truly a unique aquatic environment. Accessible only by water transport, we have self contained units, fully licensed bar and restaurant, plus a well stocked shop and petrol.

Te Rawa features a selection of fully self contained units, sleeping from two to eight persons, plus a sumptuous honeymoon suite for that perfect weekend away. You can cater for your own needs, or relax in our friendly bar before dining in the restaurant.

The restaurant is right on the waters edge, and features a genuine Bavaria bread oven. The aroma of freshly baked sour dough bread and pizzas is truly mouth-watering. The deck at the front of the restaurant is absolutely perfect to wine and dine on after a day out on the sea.

We are close to good fishing grounds, and our shop has supplies of fishing gear and bait as well as grocery supplies. We are one of the few places that sell fuel (petrol) in the Pelorus Sound after leaving Havelock. We also have showers, fresh water, LPG and moorings available.

We are situated in Wilson Bay, one of the many sheltered bays in the Pelorus Sound, about half way between Havelock and the open sea of Cook Strait. Pelorus Sound is one of the most picturesque of all the Marlborough Sounds, and this is where the Green lip mussel is grown in our clear green waterways.
