Various secluded beaches offer romantic settings for nature lovers and with over 80kms of tracks to explore there is plenty to entertain the trampers, mountain bikers and outdoor experts.

For those looking for something a little bit different we offer a three night fully catered stay in our luxury lodge. This gives you time to explore and take advantage of the activities we have- Kayaking, Mountain biking, fishing and a farm tour around the ’island’.

The Cottage and Shearers Quarters contain mostly double beds and provided enough room for six couples at once with another 10 bunks for the kids.

Covered in over 1500ha of native bush and scrub we welcome all hunters and have a walk in chiller by the ’Cookhouse’ door which means pigs are kept fresh until you go home.

Located in the Outer Pelorus Sounds it makes the perfect base camp for that ‘boys fishing trip’ and with the price of fuel these days it is more economical to stay the weekend than return to Havelock with one days fishing quota.

Pohuenui is only 50 minutes by boat from Havelock and we have four moorings and a wharf on site for guests.
