Sheltered Mistletoe Bay is situated at the head of Onahau Bay in the beautiful waterways of the Queen Charlotte Sound in Marlborough, New Zealand. Our new development provides 8 new whare (cabins) each comprising a bathroom, sleeping and living areas for six. A new communal kitchen/meeting room adjacent will provide cooking and dining facilities Our brand new whares each comprises a bathroom, and sleeping and living areas for six. A new communal kitchen/meeting room adjacent will provide for refrigerated storage, with preparation, cooking and dining facilities. This room is ideal for small conference use, classroom and tuition situations, and for functions with a difference. Catering is available on request.Camping has always been a favourite pastime at the Bay, and we have just completed a new ablution block with hot water showers, and a camp kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and washing up facilities. Over 100 campsites are available, all within 100 m of the beach.In addition, our bach cottage still proves to be popular with families. The Jo House sleeps 6 (1 double bedroom, and a 4 bunk bedroom). We also have limited backpacker accommodation comprising 6 beds, bathroom and small kitchen.This exciting project reflects a truly community effort in creating a sustainable eco-friendly, tourist, conference and educational facility which boasts the latest technology in recycling, solar power, water conservation and waste water treatment.Soft adventure tourism activities include boating, kayaking, diving, sailing, walking, fishing and scuba diving. Or immerse yourself in the pristine marine or forest environment for which Mistletoe Bay is renowned.Mistletoe Bay is accessible by boat or water taxi from Picton, Waikawa, or Anakiwa, and by road access via the Kenepuru Rd (21 km from Linkwater turn-off) from Havelock or Picton.He taiao mo tatou katoa......For everyone, naturally
